I booked without requesting a first floor room. Having fallen down 7 flights of stairs a few days before, I found myself with an upstairs room. There were issues putting my card through that were disturbing since I had more than enough on that card, the lovely lady who was at the desk helped me take my luggage upstairs to my room which was very nice. I missed out on the 1 bottle of water given to guests at the front desk as this was left behind and wished they would have left bottled water in my room so I could add it to the fridge to enjoy cold water as a refreshment. While breakfast was included I was out by 6am to get to my destination each morning and found it rather odd that at work in Vermont they seemed to know where I was staying even though I did not share that with anyone and booked it online. While I doubt the owners of this hotel shared that with anyone, it was rather distubring none the less that someone where I worked made a comment about my staying in Wiliamstown, MA. Nice place, I had stayed there with original owners years ago. Restaurant on property was not opened though which was disappointing. But great location and nice people running the place.

Very clean. Facility is old but very well maintained/remodeled as necessary. Bathroom was very nice! Owner operator is very friendly and eager for everyone to have a pleasant experience.

The bathroom looked like it was recently updated, and it looks great. The breakfast was great and the woman at the front desk was very sweet and helpful.

The front desk staff was amazing. Super friendly and accommodating. Free breakfast/coffee was great and beyond typical continental breakfast. Would stay here again if in the area.

K was wonderful — friendly, helpful The bathroom was especially nice — not only clean, but new shower, nice soap/shampoo/ body lotion supplies, good hair dryer. Bed was comfortable, temperature easy to adjust.

The rooms were very clean and modern. The breakfast was more than we expected with a variety of pastries, hot waffles, etc. The owner was extremely pleasant and very helpful especially when my glasses needed fixing and he fashioned a screwdriver out of a paperclip.

Clean, comfortable, conveniently located. Good price. Microwave and refrigerator in the room a plus. Liked the very modern bathroom. Loved the stream running alongside the property. Liked that we could open the window to hear the water and have fresh air. Liked the fresh fruit and warm boiled eggs. Especially liked Kayhe was very gracious.

A great little place. Very clean. The owner was great. Very helpful. We loved it. A nice change from the corporate chains. Fresh berries at breakfast. Don't hesitate to stay here.

Nicely updated, attractive grounds and comfortable, clean rooms. With the babbling brook and autumn leaves drifting down, it was very picturesque, even on a busy corner, and being able to sit on the 2nd floor in the sun outside our 2nd floor room and look at the mountains was lovely. Better than expected breakfast. The proprietor, Kashyak, really cared about us and our experience.
